~ REUNION INFORMATION & UPDATES ~

Join us Saturday evening, July 17, 2004 for dinner and dancing at the Colonie Wolf road Marriott, and Sunday, July 18 at Peebles Island for the family picnic. Invitations to this event will be in the mail shortly. If you do not receive your invitation by June 14th please email us here so we can get one sent to you.
 
The cost of the dinner has been set at $50.00 per person with a cocktail hour from 6pm to 7pm which will include free beer, wine and soda. Dinner and dancing will follow.

The dinner choices for the evening are:

Sliced Sirloin of Beef with Burgundy Mushroom Sauce
Stuffed Filet of Sole
Chicken Marsala
Vegetarian Dish

As a free souvenir of the evening we will be taking pictures of everyone after you sign-in. We will have a separate room setup for this, we will also be taking pictures of your tables right before dinner starts to get this all out of the way so you can enjoy the rest of your evening without interruption. You will receive one 4x6 stenciled frame at registration which you can fill with your picture at the end of the night. If you would like any additional pictures there will be a charge of $5.00 which will go directly to our reunion fund. We will also once again be taking the group picture which we can send to anyone who requests it for a price to yet be determined. We will also be posting most of the pictures here on the website after the event which you can than download for free if you so choose.

During the evening we will be holding the Silent Auction with all of the donated goods from Alumni. Please bring extra cash or your checkbooks to bid and win these great items. We have been given items by Alumni but could always use more to help build our reunion fund. If you are going to donate to the auction please email us here so we know what size table we will need for this part of the evening. If you have questions on what to donate please send us an email and we can give you suggestions.

We will also have a
50/50 Raffle that will be available for all to participate in.

The family picnic at Peebles Island on Sunday July 18th is being catered by class of 79 alumni William Brennan who owns "Willie's Creative Catering" free of charge to everyone.

We have set aside hotel accommodations for $99.00 the night of the dinner. If you are interested, please contact the hotel at 518-458-8444 and tell them you are with the Cohoes Class of 79, and they will give you the preferred rate. For further information on the hotel click here.
 
(PLEASE NOTE... recently there has been some confusion in reserving a room at the Marriott.  If you had or have any problems reserving a room under the Cohoes Class of 79 for the $99 rate, please let us know immediately, or you can email the event planner directly at the Marriott at christine.frament@marriott.com.
 
We have also chosen to have a band this time instead of a DJ. They are a very popular local band named The SCHMOOZE. They will play many of the songs from when we were in high school, all the way up to today's music. Click here to go to their website.
 
If you have any pictures from previous class reunions, please send them via email if possible.  If not email us, or call 570-848-5969, for information on where to mail the pictures, and we will have them scanned and returned to you.
